Trusted Advisor Home Inspections

Meet Your Inspector

Hello, my name is Tony Lane, Owner of Trusted Advisor Home Inspections. I understand that purchasing a home can be a very stressful time in one’s life. My goal is to help my clients understand the home inspection, conduct a non-invasive visual inspection of the home and its systems and report on the conditions of the home, both positive and negative.

I am a Certified Master Inspector and a NRPP Radon Measurement Provider. I’m passionate about helping people and educating them on the condition of their home. In my spare time I enjoy hiking with my wife Missy, playing golf, and taking guitar lessons.

Inspection Services

Residential Inspections

The purpose of an inspection isn't just to find problems with the house; It's also about making sure that you don't buy something that will cost more than you think, or cause other headaches down the road.

Radon Testing

Radon is a natural, radioactive, invisible, and odorless gas that is produced when uranium in the Earth’s crust decays and turns into radium. Radon is also the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer in the United States.

11-Month Warranty Inspections

Most builders offer a one-year warranty on a new home. We perform a full home inspection before the builder’s warranty expires. Just because your home is new, doesn’t necessarily mean it is defect-free.

Walk & Talk Consultations

We conduct a real-time walkthrough of a property with you, providing immediate verbal feedback and insights on the condition of the home's key components, such as its structure, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC.

Indoor Air Quality Testing for Mold

There are over 400,000 types of mold, and while there are only a few dozen that are toxic, exposure to many molds can lead to health problems. It can also cause structural damage to your house.

Home Maintenance Inspections

Just like your car, your home needs to be maintained. As homes age, the quality of the building and its utilities begin to deteriorate. This is an investigation to look for issues that you might not even know are a problem yet.

Final Walk-Through Inspections

This final inspection is a buyer's last chance to identify any issues that need to be addressed before taking ownership, making it a crucial step for ensuring the property meets their expectations and investment value.

Infrared Camera Inspection

Infrared cameras are an advanced technology used to inspect for hidden water leaks under and around showers, bathtubs, and sinks. The camera is also used to inspect for water intrusion entering from the exterior into the lower level of home.

The Best Modern Report in the Industry

Our Spectora reports can be viewed on any device!

While Trusted Advisor Home Inspections encourages our clients to walk through the home with us, we understand that you may be too busy, and may not have time to do so.

Regardless of whether or not you attend the inspection, we will compile a comprehensive Spectora report, which includes all of the information you need to determine the condition of the home.

We will deliver our report the same day of the conclusion of your home inspection, so that you can quickly access a full overview of our findings – and discuss them with us and your agent.

Although it is not necessary, we do recommend that you attend the inspection so you can ask questions and learn more about the home. You will learn a lot from the inspection report, but we always encourage you to attend!

It is important to note that no house is perfect. At the end of the home inspection process, we will provide a detailed report that describes the physical condition of the property, with images highlighting what may need repair or replacement.
